Now that I have your attention (I hope), I’d like to introduce my plans for June 6th this year.
It will be a Livestream event—all day, on loop. This won’t be the usual writing festival, but a video panel. I’ll leave the Yullen Week agenda to Nherizu for now. I’m doubtful about the video quality, but not everyone has a Nico Nico Douga account (and sometimes NND doesn’t load videos).
I’ll be show casing D.Gray-Man videos, especially featuring Yullen. There will be no lavi…Yuu or laven focus or on any other of the like. The closest thing will be the Kuroshitsuji+Kurousagi parody of the Kuroshit II opening or one-sided angst. I will make exceptions when there is sufficient Yullen (at least one-sided) focus. Other fandoms will make an appearance to elongate the event. I will take requests or suggestions. In between videos, doujinshi will be read, and slideshows will be held. There will be live readings of fanfic excerpts (drama, I can’t do manry smutty noises sorry). If not all videos I’m showing are subbed by the time the event happens, you will have to watch me sub once we run out of videos. Or we’ll read D.Gray-Man while discussing it.
My MSN is monokuro.no.usagi@hotmaerudotcom. Skype is Yullenator (I rarely use it, so message me first).
Please contact if you would like to help or can help with translation in videos (words that aren’t in the lyrics). You can download NND videos with Craving Explorer or by a browser plugin such as DownloadHelper. What I need help with is finding translations (and if necessarily several to check accuracy), timing the subs (I use DixXLand), etc. If you put in most of the work, you can obviously host it on your own YouTube account, though I prefer if all the Yullen videos were on one account.
Videos to sub: sm12991624, sm11206898, sm12991624, sm7714137, sm16356376, sm16337740, Videos needing full translation: sm7873404, sm16424603, sm15778480, sm3293535, sm15931292, ——needing only words not in the songs, but in the video: sm7714137/youtube: w5c7C8IeiJ4
To recruit: - Translation compilers (consists of finding a translation (keep credits), or several if necessary (for accuracy’s sake), correct it, and remove the , or . at the end of each line. You don’t need to do all that, though. Just find me the translations and I’ll the rest). - Subtitle timers (consists of timing the subs to an .srt file, or if you’re good with editing, embed pretty subtitles like in anime openings/endings).
Needs a site where multiple people can draw at a time, while being able to chat. They exist; I’ve used them in the past. If you know one or find one, let me know.
I caught up on the latest episodes, since I’ve been so busy. I highly doubt any of you will even read this rant, but I just had to get this out.1:30AM—bawling. …Welp, this is a common occurrence for a fujoshi anyway, right?

I honestly have no idea who to go to about this since everyone is all over either No.6 and Avengers, both of which I care about just about as I care about Masters at the moment or about 13’s new hair colour. (I’m not sorry. I’m just so sick of all the No.6. I like Nezushi quite a lot and I bawled at the end even more than at the end of Nabari no Ou, but I hold too much unfair contempt at Nezushi. (Or maybe because the relationship is actually healthy that it doesn’t stick for me?) One more reference about how something resembles Nezushi, but actually resembles Yullen much more (but what’s D.Gray-Man?), and I will implode. My dash is filled with Nezushi and all I want right now are Yullen, JoshNeku, and Hilson. I’m not even kidding.)
Everything else (except my top 2 otps) seems to matter so little right now—seems to pale in comparison in beauty. These episodes were incredibly moving. I set myself up for a huge disappointment—I kind of gave up when Cuddy left. Huddy had just the dynamic I liked. But they really went all out. These latest episodes were flawless. Now that I’ve seen them, it’s like no other ending would be as fitting. It was perfectly written and unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed.
It went against so many character and relationship cliches. House fucking prioritized Wilson’s need of pain killers over his own. (Wilson is his distraction, one can say.) …And dear God, I don’t care what anyone says, they are canon. Enough of the weak arguments that the gay jokes are sarcastic or that each are straight. "I need you. I can’t live without you." "I need you to tell me you love me." (And believe me, these cheesy lines were delivered so skillfully it didn’t feel even the tiniest bit cheesy. Somehow.) The deliberate selfishness of chaining someone with a “no”. Also…
"Well, for starters, I’m not going to say ‘I love you’." ”Thank God. Do you have any Oreos?” —Recalling from memory. Pardon my too-tired-to-checkness.
Heterosexual life… soulmates. At some point I told myself that it didn’t even matter anymore whether this relationship will ever be physically romantic or not. Well, it’d be a lie to say I wouldn’t be fine for them to just have a twosome already or even just make out.House probably really would plow that.Their relationship is already more profound than nearly all real-life or TV-drama romances. The only exception is of course, Destiel, as soon as the writers stop sucking.
