Kgais, I just started Magi recently (currently on chapter 78) with absolute minimal info and shipping bait of Sinfar , and first of all, I am appalled of Aliballadin and anything moirail. (I prefer Cassim x Alibaba.)
Argh, I came into this series looking into Sinfar, since I heard good things from Reineh. But these two stole my eyes away. 8 A8)n I don’t think I’ll change my mind any time soon, but I don’t know yet since I haven’t read very far. So far, Sinfar is way too docile for me. Judal reminds me too much of Izaya! Their evil expressions are different, but their auras and personalities are similar. Sexy, selfish, dark, twisted, playful at the expense of others, and endearingly annoying. GOD, THAT IS SO MY TYPE. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.
When Judal first appeared with Sinbad, Judal’s piqued interest in the latter was fascinating, because he looked down on everyone else but him. At the time I tried justifying the reason as simply that Sinbad was strong, and that’s why Judal was so attracted to him. But now, he’s clearly attached to him. Anyso, I assumed Judal’s probably the antagonist of sorts (or so I thought at that time), judging by his sextastically devious expressions. Then he turned out to be a magi too…
Then so I thought later, “oh, man… what if Judal’s king candidate is Sinbad?”
And then chapter 71 (above) came, and my suspicions are growing, and my hopes are rising. …I think I’m even okay with shipping it one-sidedly with angst, since it seems Jafar wins Sinbad, but I don’t even know. I don’t even care if Jafar wins. This will be deliciously angsty, I just know it.
So yes, I have a potentially new entry in my top ten ranked OTPs, and it is Sindal. Judal and his toyfriend.
